Shoestring Astronomy Support

I have installed FCUSB with no errors but when I try to run FocusPal I get the following error dialog:

System error &H80004023 (-2147467229). A Microsoft software installer error was encountered.

This error occurs on my 64 it Dell Precision M6300 laptop with Win 7 OS. I have used it on my Dell Latitude D620 with WinXP with no problems for a while now so I know that it works fine. Is FocusPal compatible with 64 bit systems?

I have FocusPal running on a 64-bit machine without issue. I have not heard of anyone having this error before. The only thing I can suggest is uninstall, reinstall, reboot, and see if that helps.

Thanks Doug. I did what you suggested and I get the same error. I'll figure it out eventually.
