Shoestring FCUSB used with Images Plus Cam. Cont.

I would like to use a Shoestring FCUSB with Images Plus Camera Control Ascom Focus application. Images Plus advertises Camera Control will only work with Absolute Positioning Focuser platforms. Anyone have any experience on this subject? Thanks, Frank.
