I have a Televue NP-101is and am adding the Focusmate driver to it. I don't plan on getting a the digital indicator for it. I was considering getting a FCUSB instead of the Televue Focusmaster to control it from my computer. Near as I can tell, the only difference between them is the Focusmaster has the additional serial connection for the digital indicator. Besides that, is there anything else I'd be giving up? I'm hoping the FCUSB + FCCBL-01 cable will do it for me, as that's a lot cheaper than the Televue unit and would rather not pay for functionality I wouldn't be using.

Re: FCUSB differences from Focusmaster
Alex,
Your understanding of the two products is spot on. The Focusmaster includes the serial interface to the digital indicator, the FCUSB does not have this feature.
