Vixen DMD-1 controller

Post by crimbo » Fri Dec 03, 2010 3:35 pm

After many years in storage I am resurrecting my Vixen SP mount with the DMD-1 controller.
I am getting AWR Technology - http://www.awrtech.co.uk/remote.htm
to add a socket
To guide i am going to use a Mead DSI with Envisage and the Guidestar port emulator
So which GPUSB variant?
Also as I am diving in blind...what else do I need or should consider
Any help gratefully recieved

cheers

Chris

Chris,

If I understand the AWR webpage correctly, you would need our GPUSB.

Hi Doug
Meade Envisage-> virtual com port-> guidestar 2 -> GPUSB-> AWR port-> Vixen DMD-1 ->super polaris
works on the bench...control signals from Envisage stop and accelerate the motors...
Now to wait for a clear sky
