Shoestring Astronomy Support

Hi all, I recently purchased an EQ Direct Cable from Shoestring and was wondering what driver I need to download.
My PC isn't seeing the mount so I'm going to start with the cable and work back from that.

First you need the Virtual COM Port driver from FTDI, found at:
https://www.ftdichip.com/Drivers/VCP.htm

Then you need the ASCOM platform, start at:
https://www.ascom-standards.org/

Then you need the EQMOD ASCOM driver, start at:
http://eq-mod.sourceforge.net/

Finally, if you don't already have something installed, you will need a top layer astronomy app that supports ASCOM. There are many to choose from.
