I have a Orion Sirius EQ-G that I am trying to connect to my computer. I purchased the USB2EQ5 cable, but I am not able to get the computer to fully connect.
It shows up in Device Manager as a COM Port (USB Serial Port). I've installed the virtual drivers.
When I try to run EQDirCheck for that COM, I get "Could not connect to EQ mount."
If I try to use EQASCOM, I get Connect Error: Port Not Available.
Any ideas on how to make this work?
Thank you.

Re: USB2EQ5 Connection Problem
I've seen it install with both an incoming port and an outgoing port. Be sure to select the outgoing port.
Try different USB ports on you computer and if possible a different computer.
If that doesn't work, the best source of information is the EQMOD group at https://groups.io/g/EQMOD The EQMOD developers and a lot of knowledgeable users with experience on a wide variety of mounts are active there and can usually find an answer quickly.
I can also ship a second cable to you if you want to try it.
