Hi Team,

I recently received the USB2EQ6 cable but I am constantly receiving a timeout connection error using EQMOD and also the EQDIR responds with cannot connect to mount. The computer finds the connection and if I connect to mount without the USB2EQ6 cable i.e. through pc direct mode and handset it works.

I am wondering if there is anything I am doing wrong e.g. which drivers should I use for the FTDI chip most recent or older versions? I am assuming that I have been supplied correct cable even though there is no identifier on it to say it is EQ6 i.e. could it be similar but cabled differently?

I worked with Craig on this issue and we figured out there was a wiring issue on the USB2EQ6 he received that escaped through our normal test process. We will be revising that process to prevent this from happening in the future.
