BT2EQ6 Transmit Current

Post by astrojohn » Thu Aug 30, 2018 10:15 am

Does the BT2EQ6 (when transmitting) draw under 21mA?

The L2 on my Orion Atlas EQ-G blew and I want to replace it with a zero ohm 1/4W resistor, but don't know the transmit current for the BT2EQ6 to know if the replacement will allow the device to function.

Thanks,

John

I don't have an exact number for that, but it can't be very much. With a zero ohm resistor, there is almost no power dissipation, so a 1/4 Watt resistor should not be a problem.
