GPUSB cable lost need to build one

Post by mario » Tue Nov 18, 2014 4:22 pm

Hello Doug and friends,
My GPUSB works fine but I lost the cable that you sent me.
I need to build a new one but I do not know the order of the cables. Can you tell me how to put the different colors?
Thank you in advance.
Mario

This is a picture of the Orion Atlas cable. Is this the correct order, (from left to right) black, red, green, yellow, brown and blue ?

The color is not so important, especially since different cable manufacturers use different color codes. What is important is that both ends are wired identically, i.e. pin 1 to pin 1 etc as described in this document:

Thank you very much Doug !! I'm going to an electronic shop to build one.
Sorry I cannot purchase your cables, I live very far from you and it is very expensive to send one, However I always talks in different forums about the quality of your products. I bought two autoguide devices and both perform very well.
Regards.
