FCUSB Improper operation

Post by yoko.gilman@cox.net » Mon Jan 20, 2014 6:53 pm

I have been running the FCUSB for a couple of months now with no problems untill last night.

When commanded to move out , either from FocusMax or from FocusPal, it would not move. If you move in one cycle then move out it does move out but for just one cycle only. It seems that you must move in once before you can move out, but just once then you must move in again. This behavior seems to be repeatable. The focuser, JMI EV2, works well when using their hand paddle.

I have disconnect and reconnected several times to no avail.

I think I need a replacement.

Thank you

Ray Gilman

I just dropped it off at the post office about 30 minutes ago. Let me know if the new unit behaves better.
