Hello:
I am trying to use my BT2EQ5 module on my Skywatcher EQ8 mount to be controlled by EQMac on my Macbook Pro running OS X 10.9. It appears that the bluetooth module will not pair up properly. What is the password to pair up with the device so that I can try it with EQMac?

I have tried that code and it does not want to pair up? Is there a driver I need for the module to install for it to pair or some other step I am missing? I think that this should be able to pair up without any issues, but so far not luck. Any guidance?

I do not have access to a Mac to be able to try things at my end.
The BT2EQ devices implement a "serial port profile" (SPP) over Bluetooth. By googling "MAC Bluetooth SPP", I found these articles that might be helpful:
