GSUB witn Win 7

Post by Frank Nowak » Sat Feb 19, 2011 9:51 am

I recently upgraded from XP to Win 7 (32 bit) and now, am having trouble with PHD. I can connect to the camera but, when I click mount connect, I get a box asking to choose a scope. Only thing is, the choices are: Ascom Dome control, Generic Hub, Pipe diagnostic tool, Poth hub and simulator. There is no scope list to choose from. Besides, I don't even remember this box coming up when I first used the GSUB. I have used the GSUB checker and can light up the green/red but, with my ear to the mount, cannot hear the RA/Dec moving at all. I also deleted PHD and re-loaded, still ng. Comments appreciated, Thanks.

Frank,

It sounds like you have ASCOM mounts selected, which I believe is PHD's default. If you go to the Mount menu at the top of the window and select "GPUSB", that should fix the problem.
