USB2EQ6

Since my laptop has no serial ports, I needed the USB2EQ6. Do I need the EQDIR as well, to connect the PC to my new Atlas EQ-G mount? Looking at the chart at the top of the page, made me think that USB2EQ6 has everything already in it. Thanks for the help.
