I purchased a GPINT-PT device a couple of years ago, but never could use it. When I connect the cable to the ST4 port (Celestron CG5-GT) the RA axis begins to "run" very fast, and also with the software is disconnected, and I cannot stop it.
I asked Mr. Anderson about it and he had no answer to the problem.
A few days ago I could connect a GPINT-PT whose owner is a friend, and it worked fine!!! So I see that the ST4 port is OK and the problem is located in my GPINT-PT, the device seems to be bad built. Can anyone can give me an advice about how can I find a solution? I'm very interested in autoguiding because I get tired of doing it manually.
