I want to use FocusMax V4 with my JMI Event Horizon 2 focuser and my C9.25. Currently my focuser has a JMI motor, that I operate with a hand controller. JMI considers this a "relative focuser", and I can get their ASCOM driver for it. I'd like to know if the Shoestring Astronomy "USB Focus Motor Controller will allow me to use CCD Max FocusMax V4, or if I need to go something like the JMI Smart Focus + encoder package, which costs over $500!
Any help and input will be much appreciated. Thanks!

Re: Using JMI motorized focuser with FCUSB
JMI should now have a new ASCOM Focuser driver for the PCFC that includes an absolute focuser mode. If their PCFC works with your focuser, then that should solve the problem.
