Controlling Interfaces from Linux

Post by rogerco » Mon Apr 06, 2009 7:51 am

I would like to control your interfaces from Linux. I have the FCUSB focus controller. I have tried it under Wine but with no luck. Has anyone you know written anything for this or alternatively if I wanted to try writing something myself how would I go about getting interface details from you?

Martin Burri has added GPUSB support to the Linux version of wxAstroCapture (http://arnholm.org/astro/software/wxAstroCapture/), but has not yet released it. You might try contacting him to see if he would share the details if you want to write something yourself. Unfortunately I am not a Linux programmer, so I don't know how to do this myself.

Thanks for that. Looks lie a nice piece of software. I have the GPUSB package as well so that will be good. I assumed that programming for that would be harder so was going to start with the FCUSB package.
