Window 7 driver for EQDIR ???
I have been running EQMOD with my Atlas mount thru an EQDIR USB to Serial converter using SkyTool Pro 3 as my planning software on a 5-yr old Dell Latitude D430 with Windows XP. This setup has worked well, but the Dell is reaching its end of reliable service so I've upgraded to an HP Pavilion dv6 wi...

Re: DSUSB + Canon 40D + Nebulosity Problem
Thanks Doug. I got a similar answer, but with a lot more software detail from Craig Stark. I had my Canon EOS Utility program set to automatically open when the camera was plugged into the laptop and Craig suggested that might be the source of the conflict. Even though I was shutting it down as soon...

Re: DSUSB + Canon 40D + Nebulosity Problem
Sorry for the delay in replying, but we were on vacation without access to computers or cell phone (it was great)!!! I have run the DSUSB and it works... can control shutter and light and all. Response from Stark labs was to attach the camera and the DSUSB to the computer before opening Nebulosity, ...

Re: DSUSB + Canon 40D + Nebulosity Problem
I am having the same problem with DSUSB and a Cannon 400 XTi Rebel using Nebulosity. When I try to do an exposure over 30 seconds I get the "Warning - set exposure duration to 30s, the limit without a long exposure adapter". I have reset all my camera functions, so I'm not trying mirror flip up or c...

Re: EQDIR vs GPUSB for PHD Guiding & SkyTools
Thanks Doug You said Since you have an Atlas EQ-G, you can use EQMOD software and our EQDIR adapter for full control of the mount including autoguiding. Does that mean I don't need the GPUSB and can get by with just the EQDIR adapter and its cables to run both EQMOD and PHD Guiding (e.g., if I excha...

EQDIR vs GPUSB for PHD Guiding & SkyTools
I have an Atlas EQ-G mount and I am trying to configure it so that I can use Nebulosity with my Canon Rebel XTi, PHD Guiding with a Philips SPC900NC webcan with the SC1 modification which I will attach to a small guide scope when it arrives. From your site I learned about EQMOD and would now like to...
