I am using the FCUSB+JMI Motofocus for Celestron 9.25"+CCDSoft v5 @Focus and it all works perfectly. I'm also on Vista Ultimate 32-bit. In CCDSoft @Focus step size is large=400 and small=40 - this seems about the right setting for me.
HTH,
Tony.

Re: FCUSB and CCDSoft v5 not working
FYI only, now its been a few months, it seems like with the Motofocus (MFC9) MOTOFOCUS for Celestron C9.25 + FCUSB and the Celestron 9.25" with CCDSoft @Focus, step size large=400 and small=40 works about right for me.

Re: Canon EOS 5D and DSUSB
Hi: I seem to have got the >30sec exp working using DSUSB+DSLR - the images then automatically download via EOS Utility. Maybe I misunderstood that is it DSUSB+DSLR that are required to operate the EOS 5D in bulb mode for >30sec and EOS Utility or Nebulosity simply are the recipients of the images. ...

Re: Canon EOS 5D and DSUSB
Many thanks. This is my setup: 1. DSUSB connected to PC via USB and DUSB connected to Canon EOS 5D's three-pin port 2. Canon EOS 5D mini-USB connected to PC via USB 3. Camera's drivers installed and working - I know the drivers are working because the EOS Utility s/w works at <30sec and when the cam...

Canon EOS 5D and DSUSB
I have the DSUSB with Canon EOS 5D. The DSUSB Check shows the DSUSB connected and working fine and I can operate the camera shutter with the Canon set to Bulb from the DSUSB Check. But, I cannot operate the Canon from the EOS Utilities software or from Nebulosity. In Nebulosity, I select Canon DIGIC...

Re: FCUSB and CCDSoft v5 not working
Hi Doug:
That worked great many thanks. All looks good.
Any recommendations on the Large, Small Step Size, Backlash, Inertia, Speed, PWM Freq settings ?
I have the classic Celestron SCT 9.25".
Thanks again,
Tony.

FCUSB and CCDSoft v5 not working
I have a new JMI Motofocus and wanted to ask what settings I need to use in CCDSoft v5 to get the FCUSB to work with CCDSoft and @Focus. I can operate the Motofocus just fine from the FocusPal Software and the FCUSB unit. But I can't see to move the motor In and Out using the CCDSoft Focus Tools - M...
