Sorry I did find the dir and ran the script. GPUSB shows up now in the ASCOM profiler but when I try to initialize
the telescope in FireCapture autoguider it hangs.

Sorry I did find the dir and ran the script. GPUSB shows up now in the ASCOM profiler but when I try to initialize autoguide in FireCapture the program hangs when it tries to initilize the telescope. I guess it a problem with this Dell computor and Firecapture because it runs on another older laptop...

I have tried every site I can think of (Ascom, firecapture) and no one can solve my problem. I can't find or invision a use for my GPUSB so I guess I will have to return it.

I followed your instructions and the same list came up that is listed in FireCapture with no GPUSB. It is interesting that GPUSB is listed in my PHD program. I will try a complete uninstall/reinstall.

Yes, I have downloaded it several times but GPUSB still does not show up Profile Explorer or in Firecapture when I initialize the autoguiding section.

Now Shoestring GPUSB should appear in the list of telescopes in the ASCOM Telescope Chooser. The GPUSB ASCOM driver knows that it is supposed to find the GPUSB on a USB port and not on a serial I think my problem is that GPUSB is not appearing in the list of telescope in the ASCOM Telescope chooser....
