Since this mount uses the Synscan handcontroller, it should be compatible with EQMOD. Our USB2EQ5 adapter cable is the only hardware you will need. For software, you will need to install the ASCOM platform, the EQMOD ASCOM driver, and application software (such as PHD Guiding) that supports ASCOM. ...

I have a Orion HDX110 EQ-G mount. I want to connect it to a computer. Still not sure about all this, I haven't even decided on a computer.
